Haitian Support Group of Aurora

About Us

Founded by Haitian immigrants, built on community. Serving Aurora and beyond.

Our Story

Rooted in Community, Driven by Purpose

The Haitian Support Group of Aurora, IL was established to serve and uplift the growing Haitian community in Aurora by providing trusted referrals, resources, and a strong sense of connection. As more Haitian families and individuals make Aurora their home, our mission is to ensure that no one navigates this journey alone.

We act as a bridge between the community and essential local services—helping individuals access opportunities in employment, education, healthcare, housing, and small business development. Through our network, members can connect with reliable Haitian-owned businesses, community leaders, and organizations that understand their needs and culture.

Beyond referrals, we are committed to fostering unity and cultural pride. We create spaces where Haitians can come together to build relationships, share experiences, and celebrate traditions. From community events and cultural activities to informational sessions and support initiatives, we strive to strengthen both individual success and collective growth.
